"The IGF
Society will sponsor 3 Student/Postdoctoral Fellow Travel Awards for the
Gordon Research Conference on "Insulin-like Growth Factors in Physiology
& Disease" to be held March 22 - March 27, 2009 in Ventura, CA (one
grant each: USA $500, Europe $800, Asia/Australia $1200).
Postdoctoral fellows should be within 5 years of MD or PhD degree. Both
mentor and student/ fellow must be members of the IGF Society to be
eligible for these awards. (Note: Officers of the IGF Society are not
eligible)
Please e-mail Cheryl Conover (conover.cheryl@mayo.edu)
the name of the student/fellow, mentor, a copy of the abstract, and
indicate in the subject line "Travel Award".
Deadline
for submission is January 5, 2009.
Winners will be notified by e-mail and will have their names and
abstract title posted on the IGF Society website.
It's going to be a great meeting and we the Officers of the IGF Society
want to increase opportunities for our members to participate!!"
